Mothers Day

We have written a little post on how we would like Mothers Day to play out.

Breakfast in Bed

Give Mum an extra hour in bed to herself,  sneak downstairs and make her favourite breakfast; pancakes, porridge, eggs or get ahead of the game and make delicious overnight oats on Saturday night. We love this recipe by 26 Grains

Flowers

Spring is our favourite time for flowers. Shop local and head you your nearest florist and grab as many tulips, daffodils and hyacinths as you can.

Lunch

Head to one of our favourite family friendly pubs for a delicious lunch where you dont have to think about cooking, washing up or making a mess.

North - The Drapers Arms

South - The Canton Arms

East - The Scolt Head

West - The Oak

Walk

London is looking absolutely beaut as we enter spring. Seize the moment. Head to Hampstead Heath and take in the breath taking views of the city from Parliament hill, wander down the river from Hammersmith to Barnes or head to Richmond Park and pretend we don't live in the big smoke.

I still believe the Roebuck in Richmond has the best view in London

Supper

Obviously you wont be cooking, pre heat the oven and pop in a  Piccolo Plates

NB we know life doesnt always pan out as above so whatever you do on Sunday, have a great day,  take a little bit of time make your mum feel special; call her, hug her, tell her you love her.
